Alright. I'm making a manga. Most of it is in a school, and I need students. I'm asking all my buddies if they want to make a character (or use one that they've already made) to be either a student or a teacher (Or a Slayer, but they'll probably end up dead). I don't care if it has arms coming out of it's back and eyes on it's legs. As long as it's reasonably humanoid, it'll do.

Yakoi
The Yakoi was, at one time, a group of infinitely powerful weres (Ex. werewolf, werecat, wererex...). These weres were the first on the continent of Kuyate. The oldest of the Yakoi is, actually, a Tyrannosaurus Rex. (He's still alive, btw...) Then other types of weres, different kinds of vampires, giants, and other such things came to the continent. Last came the humans, who ended up uniting the weres, vampires, giants, and so on, into becoming a group of allied species who defend each other from Slayers, all under the title of Yakoi.

Youri Hieu Academy (school)
Youri Hieu Academy is a school for any students who want to learn how to defend themselves form the Slayers. Of course, they also learn the history of their continent, and the school, and all that. The Academy is open to everyone (EVERYONE) except for Slayers. They even have a few ex-Slayers.

Slayers
The Slayers are a (large) group of humans who think that anything that is not strictly human or animal should not exist. Their main goal in life is to destroy the Yakoi, bit they also want to know why the Yakoi are so strong, can transform, have special powers, and are innately telepathic. They will stop at nothing to destroy them, and become the supreme beings in Kuyate. They destroy the Yakoi's families, steal their children, and force said children to help destroy more yakoi. In a sense, they force the Yakoi to fight and kill their own family.


What I'm Asking For

Students:
They can be anything you want, as long as they:
Hold a weapon (Or are their own weapon)
Communicate (hand signs, gestures, telepathic, word of mouth.)
Have some sort of power, or special weapon, or something.
Can exist reasonably well around people. I don't care whether or not they're anti-social, as long as they're not going to slaughter the whole place. 'Cause then they'd be dead by seven-year-old.
ARE NOT:
Slayers
Rapists
Characters from a published book/videogame/whatever. I really can't afford a lawyer.
Traitors

Teachers
Teachers have the same requirements as students. Except different. By the way, since some students are actually older than their teachers, and because of imprintation, student-teacher relationships are allowed. As long as no one's, like, nine.

Specialized Subjects:
Abyssinan (For Abyss Cats) -Nishant-

Flying (self explanatory) -Dreagon-
Fire Usage (for fire elementals) -Apollo-

Forbidden Subjects:
Sex Ed (the students would take it the wrong way. It's a very... affectionate society.)

Subjects that need more teachers:
Healing (Leenah, Bajshia, +x people)
Combat, any kind (Saika, Daitan, Skylark, +x people)
Ships/anything to do with sailing (Aki, Fuyu, +x people)
Mechanics (Uzi, Rikki, Liam, Vonido, Apollo, +x people)
Language [ANY LANGUAGE CAN BE TAUGHT] (Scarlet, + x people)
Dance (Sharon, + x people)

You can also add more subjects.


Slayers
I really don't care, if you're making a Slayer. They'll just die anyway, unless they decide to forsake everything and join one group or another of the Yakoi. Slayers die quite often in this manga.


If you make one, I need:
Their name (last name isn't required, unless they want to be called that. Teachers can be first or last.)
Age (Physical and actual)
What they look like, + their colors (written or drawn)
What they are (were, vamp, elf, etc., or mixture)
Whether they're gay, bi, or strait
Best/worst subject/all subjects they're taking (6) (Students)
What they teach (Teachers)
Any special powers
What group they're in (goth, bubbley, whatever)
Who they get along with (personality and name)
Close friends
How long they've been at the Academy
Background (who they are, how their life went, etc.)
+ any other info you'd like to give me.
